This is a beautiful NIV Bible for history lovers! Linda Hobar says:
"Since I graduated from high school many years ago, I’ve only truly cherished one Bible that was a gift from my parents.   You can imagine what it looks like. The blue leather is worn and some pages are falling out.  I’ve tried to replace it a few times, but couldn’t find a new Bible to suit me.  That is until now.  On my 45th birthday, my husband gave me a beautiful brown leather edition of the Archaeological Study Bible.  It feels like it was written with me in mind.  Every few pages are filled with archaeological and historical notes to verify the authenticity of the Bible and help bring it to life.  I highly recommend it for anyone with a passion for history and the Word of God.  As for my old blue Bible, I’ll continue to cherish it and all the personal notes within, but the Archaeological Study Bible is the one that I plan to read every day and use in Bible study and church."

Flavius Josephus was a Jewish historian (37 AD - circa 100 AD). For centuries Josephus' works were more widely read in Europe than any book other than the Bible. They are an invaluable eye-witness to a momentous turning point in Judaism, Christianity, and Western civilization. These books provide invaluable reading opportunities for families looking to enrich their history studies.
